Kubernetes, Terraform and DevOps Training
When a team adopts a technology like Kubernetes, containers or Terraform, a shared skills baseline is often missing. Our hands-on courses bring the whole team to the same starting point
Why these courses
A technical course works when the people teaching it have actually run the systems they talk about. The instructors have direct experience designing and operating cloud native and security architectures, built up by working alongside companies on their technology transformation projects. That is why the classroom covers the problems, trade-offs and limits of each tool, not just its features.
- Hands-on. Practical courses come with a dedicated cloud lab where participants immediately try out what they have just seen.
- Built on your stack. The program follows the company's technologies and use cases: what you learn in the classroom, you use the next day.
- Private classes. Each session is dedicated to a single company, with experience across Italian and European companies.
- Certification preparation. The courses are concrete help in preparing for industry technical certifications such as CKA, CKAD and Terraform Associate.
Available courses
Kubernetes course: Introduction to Kubernetes
4 days, hands-on. For sysadmins, DevOps engineers, architects and developers.
This Kubernetes training starts with containers: the first day is dedicated to Docker, Dockerfiles, images, registries and volumes. It then moves on to the Kubernetes architecture, with manifests, namespaces, pods, deployments and the other workloads; then networking, Ingress and Gateway API, network policies, persistence, scheduling, authentication, RBAC and Pod Security Admission; and finally Helm and Kustomize, autoscaling, sidecars, operators and custom resources, and basic monitoring for day-to-day operations. The program follows the current CKA and CKAD exam topics.
Full program on formazione-kubernetes.it (in Italian).
Terraform course: Introduction to Terraform
2 days, hands-on. For sysadmins, DevOps engineers and developers.
HCL syntax, infrastructure deployment, state management, providers and the resource lifecycle; then remote state, teamwork and modules.
Full program on formazione-terraform.it.
Introduction to Google Cloud Platform
2 days, lectures with demonstrations. For sysadmins, DevOps engineers, developers and architects.
Designed as support for the Associate Cloud Engineer certification. It covers the resource hierarchy, Compute Engine, IAM, networking and load balancing, storage and databases, Pub/Sub, logging and monitoring, Cloud Run and Cloud Run functions, GKE in Standard and Autopilot mode, and automation with Terraform. The program is aligned with the current ACE exam guide.
Introduction to Git, with GitHub or GitLab
1 day, hands-on. For sysadmins, DevOps engineers and developers.
Git fundamentals (commits, branches, merges, conflicts, rebase, remotes) and the workflow with merge requests and protected branches, on GitHub or GitLab.
Introduction to web security
2 days, with lab. For developers and software architects.
The OWASP and OSSTMM methodologies and the main issues in the OWASP Top 10, reproduced in the lab together with the ways to avoid them. Details on formazione-cybersecurity.it.
Hacking techniques and penetration testing
3 days, with exercises. For sysadmins and DevOps engineers.
The phases of a penetration test, from footprinting to reporting, with Kali Linux, Nmap, vulnerability scanners and Metasploit. Penetration testing is also presented as a tool for the verification obligations set out by the GDPR. Details on formazione-cybersecurity.it.
Custom courses
Beyond the catalog, we prepare tailored courses starting from the team's needs: a DevOps training path that combines several topics, a deep dive into one specific technology, or exercises built on your own systems. Courses are delivered in English or Italian.
How the courses run
- By video conference or on site, with a lab active for the entire duration of the course.
- Hours: 9:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:00, with short breaks.
- At most 12 participants per session.
- Materials: participants receive the course slides as a PDF.
And after the course?
A course is there to build the shared baseline. If the team already has the basics, or wants to put what it has learned straight into practice on a real project, team mentoring is often the better choice.
Frequently asked
What are the prerequisites?
For almost all courses it is enough to be comfortable with the Linux command line and a terminal text editor. Terraform also requires basic Linux administration, Git requires programming fundamentals, and penetration testing requires networking knowledge. The prerequisites for each course are listed in the catalog.
Do the courses prepare for certifications?
Yes. They are excellent support for preparing for CKA and CKAD (Kubernetes), Terraform Associate and Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer.
How many people can attend?
At most 12 per session: beyond that number it becomes difficult to follow every participant during the exercises.
Can it be done remotely?
Yes. Courses are held by video conference or on site; in both cases there is a dedicated lab, in the cloud or on premises, that stays active for the entire duration of the course.
Are the sessions recorded?
No, the sessions are not recorded, neither audio nor video. Participants receive the course slides as a PDF.
